Successful candidate must travel to customer sites to support their technology needs from help desk to infrastructure. This is a technology position with direct responsibility for the engineering, up-time and integrity of customer environments, specializing in Intel virtualization, desktop/server systems and LAN/WAN appliances.
The Engineer has hands-on responsibilities, providing top tier support and knowledge sharing in all technological aspects located in house and at customer sites. Responsibilities also include server support, Client ticket remediation, adherence to company and departmental process and procedures. Must communicate proactively with team, management, project management and clients to ensure issues and solutions are documented, clarified, effectively addressed, and resolved with appropriate urgency. Ensures client satisfaction; maintains accountability throughout resolution, including issue delegation or hand off.
Applicant must have a minimum 2-5 years’ hands-on experience with the following:
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills. Exceptional customer service orientation.
Daily travel assignments to multiple customer locations required.
